Nice grounds. Quiet and charming Molly was great I was only there for one night. A longer stay would be needed to form a better openion
location is ok
staff - unfriendly, awkward and weired. rooms not clean. massively overpriced
I thought it as closer to the water
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. We especially liked the separate entrance and porch area for each unit. The complementary breakfast and charming breakfast area were things we looked forward to each morning. The location was ideal for exploring Southampton, Hampton Bays and the nearby wine country. I would definitely stay here again.
In a word: Molly. She was welcoming, friendly and really made the difference for our stay. These summer cabins have thin walls and it's not luxury, but it was a great, low-cost place for the weekend. The real difference was made by the staff and their casual, warm, friendly approach. We will go back.
These cabins have thin walls, which can be a bit annoying, but they were really well kept and pleasant.
The rooms are old and beat up, the mini fridge smelled truly terrible and the bathroom prompted my husband to say "we should have packed flip flops." Everything about the room needed a good cleaning and many items needed repairs - broken blinds, missing handle on shower door, cracked iron, stained ironing board, etc.
The place is cleen the staff is courteous
The cost but then again everything is expensive during the season
The towels were very nice. The continental breakfast was basic, but adequate.
We reserved a room with a queen-sized bed. When we arrived, we were told that there were no rooms with a queen-sized bed available and gave us a room with 2 double beds. The room smelled very strongly of bleach. There was an old piece of pizza in the microwave oven when we arrived at our room. We had to pay $300+ for a room in an old motor lodge! Nowhere on the site does it mention that it is an old motor lodge with only 10 rooms. We found it by doing a search for a bed and breakfast. The Hampton Hamlet Inn does have beds in the rooms and does offer a continental breakfast, but that does not make it worthy of being listed as a bed & breakfast. We're very disappointed in the misleading approach and will think twice before we use Booked.net for a reservation.
The staff were warm and courteous and always willing to go the extra mile.
The inn keeper was friendly and accommodating, and the room was bright and clean. I intend to return for a longer visit in the future,
The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The beds and linens were very good quality as were the towels. Excellent shampoo, too. There was plenty of heat and hot water. We were there for Christmas week. We plan to return next year.
They are still working on decorating so it seemed kind of bare looking but everything else made up for that.
